Created in 1926, Fragonard is a French perfumery associated with a guest house which was founded by Eugène Fuchs to whom he attributed the name of the famous painter of Grasse origin Jean-Honoré Fragonard in order to render homage to the city of Grasse which welcomed him and his family as well as to the refinement of the arts of the 18th century.

A great connoisseur of art, in the 1970s he gathered together most of his collections of objects linked to the history of perfumery to create the Grasse Museum and two Parisian museum-boutiques.

Today, his daughters are the queens of the house, contributing in their own way to the family edifice.
